Achieving Goals – differently

To me the future of Indian Economy is in the hands of small entrepreneurs. Being an entrepreneur is one of the most adorable things in human life. The success of an enterprise depends mainly on how differently we are trying to achieve our goals.
Lines of Robert Frost can be an are relevant here.

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and
I took the road less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”

Now I am going to share some humble insights which I have learned through my practical encounters, shared experiencesfrom friends, and books I have read.

The most important thing is to establish the enterprise on an ethical base- here the person who takes decisions is very much aware that his decisions are going to affect others too, and he always try to get into their skin before he concludes. His prayers will be to see his Yes as always Yes and his No as always No. On the other hand there are enterprises which are enclosed in a conceptual frame and this frame eventually put us into a cage, where we normally become selfish. The end result is often ‘Confrontations and Arguments’.

You should always know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that fact in every action of yours. Success purely depends on the attitude that you carry and it comes normally as a consequence, not as an end result.
Achieving a goal can always be compared to climbing a mountain. You must always keep in mind your objective- reaching the top. However, as you climb you should enjoy every step you take, respect your body, and give it the care it deserves. You have all the time that life has given you, so do not walk too quickly, you will grow tired and give up your journey halfway through. Never walk at a very slow pace too, try to find an optimum speed respecting your body and soul. After reaching the top tell everyone in every possible way that “This is the way I have used to achieve my goal”, so that you can be an example to others who are going to follow your path.

“Never let your emotions guide you” … a piece of advice that guides my decisions even now

hybeenOn the last day of my school hostel life the Rector called me near him and gave me a piece of advice that guides my decisions even now, and I think it will continue to do so in feature too. The advice was very simple and is nothing but “Never let your emotions guide you”. Beware- every action committed in anger is doomed for failure.

Let us all hope and pray that our body, brain, and soul converge while taking important decisions.

  2. Nice. Robert Frost my favorite-
The woods are lovely dark and deep
But I have promises to keep and
Miles to go before I sleep .
